Custom Project in Downtown Tulsa for Nelson+Stowe Development

The Boxyard

Custom Development in Downtown Tulsa for Nelson+Stowe

Project Summary

Carved from the iconic massive stacks of containers commonly seen at our ports, this structure is a pinnacle of possibility of what we can do with these fantastic building blocks. From the first time we saw mention of this project we knew we had to be a part of it in some way. The developer was great to work with and truly embraced the container as the focal point of the entire project.  Despite all the hidden efforts, it looks like these containers were stacked up in a “just so” way and a bunch of vendors moved in. Housing a fantastic variety of merchants, the mood and bustling atmosphere is like no other place I’ve ever seen.  We are very proud to have been a part of it all.

Our involvement included preliminary planning and development, supplying the containers and modifying them, we performed the installation on-site and several periphery items like handrails and tree planters made from container doors.  From the word go it took us just 60 days to complete our part.
